Appointment Pool

Perth Modern School is seeking to establish a pool of  Music Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies, which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.

Successful applicants will be able to teach Music from Year 7 -12 ATAR level and be joining a progressive and enthusiastic team of teachers who are engaged in implementing a whole school approach to the gifted and talented educational music programs offered in the school.  Chorale work forms a part of this positon

Professional, enthusiastic, merit selected staff provide a broad range of subjects and activities tailored to the special needs of gifted students. Our teachers' deep subject knowledge and passion for their vocation ensures that Perth Modern School students are supported to achieve their potential.

Perth Modern School, a proud government school, is Western Australia's only fully selective school for academically gifted students in Years 7 to 12. Perth Modern School currently operates on a seven-line grid/2-week rotation timetable. Centrally located in Subiaco, the school provides a differentiated and compacted curriculum that develops the skills of gifted students.
