Suitable applicants will be highly motivated and committed to raising students’ academic achievement and building their social and emotional development through the effective use of ongoing plan-teach-assess cycles. You will also possess the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment based on high expectations. Suitable applicants will also exhibit a proactive and positive approach to student engagement and behaviour, comprising individualised planning and the consistent application of low key classroom management strategies, aligned to Positive Behaviour Strategies (PBS). You will be expected to work in an environment committed to self-reflection and continuous self-improvement. You will need to be an active member of a supportive team, maximising the learning opportunities for students. You will also be committed to collaborating with your colleagues, including during Duties Other Than Teaching (DOTT), to moderate judgements and support whole school priorities.
