Appointment Pool
Goollelal Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
We are seeking accomplished teachers with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills which underpin professional and positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community. Suitable applicants will become an integral part of this community partnership to support each child to reach their potential. You will have a strong ability to deliver explicit lessons which follow the iSTAR pedagogical model and have the ability to integrate digital technologies across the curriculum.
As a teacher at Goollelal PS, you will work in a collaborative environment to improve student outcomes, reflect on your own performance, contribute to staff development and support our distributed leadership structure. You will be committed to continuous improvement, demonstrated by your willingness to accept and implement change, and also in your ability to lead initiatives at a phase of learning and/or school-wide level. You will have the willingness to follow the school plan to achieve common goals within the school
Goollelal PS is an Independent Public School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school motto is 'sharing, caring and learning' - reinforcing our belief in the importance of education whilst maintaining the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and families.
The school is situated approximately 20 kilometres north of Perth in the suburb of Kingsley. Our school features a variety of dynamic play areas, an outdoor learning and chicken coop. The school grounds are well maintained and feature established native trees and plants.

- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
