Appointment Pool
Ellenbrook Secondary College (SC) is seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Humanities and Social Sciences for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2020 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2021. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2020 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2021.
Suitable applicants will be flexible, willing to work collaboratively with staff and possess strong interpersonal skills to allow connection within the school community to achieve the best outcomes for all students. Suitable applicant will be highly motivated, student and relationship focused and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning experiences. To be successful you will exhibit the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum. Experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Economics to Year 12 students, would be advantageous.
Ellenbrook SC is located in the suburb of Ellenbrook, approximately 40 minutes north of Perth. It has a unique combination of country and city life, with the benefits and resources of both. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;

- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
