This is a permanent part-time (0.2FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2020
Dryandra Primary School (PS) is seeking to appoint a highly-skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to undertake the role of Data Coach and Learning Support Coordinator.
The successful applicant will provide support to staff in analysing data and setting targets to assist in planning. You will also be required to interpret and analyse the data obtained from the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT), Brightpath and PM Benchmark.
As the Data Coach and Learning Support Coordinator, you will provide support in creating documented plans and case management plans. Furthermore, you will be expected to support the Deputy Principal in the application process for the disability resourcing system. As such, it would be highly desirable for you to have the ability to analyse and interpret system and school data, as well as the ability to support and coach staff in using the data to support classroom and whole school planning. Ideally, you will also be able to work collaboratively with teachers and to establish positive working relationships. Sound conflict resolution, change management skills and knowledge of Special Education Needs (SEN) planning would be highly desirable.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
