This is a  Permanent Part Time appointment at 45.6 hours per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

   
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Cardiac Scientific Officer for Perth Children's Hospital. In this role, you will provide specialist, clinical, technical and associated cardiac scientist services to the department of cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery for the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role is also responsible for the documentation, interpretation and recording of physiological and cardiovascular measurements and implantable devices.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital.
