Position Profile
We currently have one (1) fixed term full time appointment available up to 10 months, with the possibility of extension.
We are also seeking to establish a pool of suitably qualified applicants for the role of Senior Network Administrators. The pool will be valid for a period of twelve (12) months following finalisation of the process and may be used to fill permanent and fixed term, full time and part time opportunities that may arise in this period. Please note, being appointed to the pool does not guarantee you placement to a position.
This position will provide candidates with the opportunity to immerse themselves in an exciting transformation, utilising principles such as Lean and embracing cloud and GovNext services. You will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to improvements in processes, systems and environments as we transform our approach and provide a simple, business focussed network for the department.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the Network Administration Team with business as usual requests, and where required assist the business with demand based projects. You will coordinate, maintain and manage diverse networks that include but are not limited to voice, data and internet across a variety of technologies. You will also receive and respond to high level incidents, problems and cyber security threats working with vendors and third parties to resolve.
