This is a ten (10) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2020 with possible twelve (12) month extension and/or permanency
Southern Cross District High School (DHS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher, who is willing to teach lower-secondary Science, to join their team.
As the successful applicant you should ideally have experience in teaching lower school Mathematics, and experience in teaching Science would be an advantage. You ideally should also possess a sound understanding of the developmental needs of students at all phases of the Western Australian Curriculum and be skilled in differentiating the curriculum to meet the academic needs of all learners. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment will be well regarded as well as a willingness to engage in professional learning and liaise with colleagues, parents and external networks.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
