Yangebup Primary School (PS) is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Teacher to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant will ideally have an understanding of Nyoongar Language and culture and be able to lead, support and mentor staff in the area of the cultural standard. Skills in project management and able to plan whole school events around the Nyoongar calendar is high desirable. You will need to successfully in engage Aboriginal Parents within the school community and create a welcoming culture environment within the class and across the school. We seek someone with the capacity to make a difference to the attendance of disengaged students and a track record of success in this area.
The successful applicant will have proven ability to support students of differing abilities through the provision of an inclusive, differentiated curriculum and have well-developed classroom management skills. You will be motivated to actively engage in classroom observation and feedback practices to develop their understanding of our whole school programs and pedagogy. The successful applicant will be a collaborative team member in the implementation of a child centred learning program.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
