Ballajura Community College (CC) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Teacher – Music.
The successful applicant will be able to provide innovative teaching and learning programs that nurture and inspire students. You will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team and have outstanding interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to communicate and relate to parents, students, staff and wider community members. You will also be able to articulate a clear vision that complements and supports the school’s excellent culture of teaching and learning and engage our students with musical opportunities in the broader community.
It would be desirable if the applicant holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as this teaching position offers a Certificate III course in Music Industry for students to undertake.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
