About the role
The Strategic Reform Division identified and analyses emerging justice trends and develops responsive, innovative, practical policy and programs that deliver desired outcomes for our diverse stakeholders. A key function of the Division is to build and manage productive and effective relationships and partnerships that engage with its key stakeholders.

The Manager Aboriginal Justice oversees, directs and take responsibility for the development, implementation, analysis and ongoing review of the Department’s Open Days and other key initiatives. The role engages with Aboriginal communities and people, government and non-government agencies and other key stakeholders, as directed.

The position may require some intrastate travel and a valid C Class Drivers Licence is a requirement for any proposed intrastate travel.
About you
As the Manager Aboriginal Justice, you will have a demonstrated knowledge and deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and society and a demonstrated proven ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal people in Western Australia.
You will demonstrate proven experience working with Aboriginal people and communities in Western Australia and have an ability to demonstrate outcomes. You will be available to undertake intrastate and other travel as required and directed.
You will also demonstrate the achievement of a range of results, build and forge strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, achieve results and exemplify personal integrity and self-awareness. You will be a strong and effective communicator who is persuasive and effective, achieving outcomes that benefit all. You should also have experience shaping and managing strategy that aligns with strategic objectives.
