Position Profile
We currently have one (1) permanent full time appointment (1.0 FTE) available for immediate filling.
This process may be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the department. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, the panel may select another suitable applicant from this selection process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from approval of the initial recruitment decision.
We are looking for a Team Leaders who will be responsible for creating and developing market development programs that assist WA food businesses to capture more market share and improve their international competitiveness. This will include overseeing market intelligence, business analysis and industry relationships to address constraints and barriers for the food industry sector. This position will have a strong understanding of the State’s food industry external environment and conditions, including evolving consumer and market signals, supply chain and financial settings. The position will lead and cultivate collaborative relationships with key industry players, (both private and public) and across the department to maximise opportunities for the food industry sector, to support businesses in delivering to their investment and growth plans.

Interstate travel may be required.
This position is located in South Perth.
