The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.
This position is currently located in East Perth and will be relocated to Kings Square Fremantle in April 2020. This move follows the relocation of the Department of Communities head office to the new purpose-built accommodation in Kings Square.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Workforce Strategy Consultant, you will support the delivery of strategic human resource solutions across the Department. These solutions vary in complexity and extend to a variety of projects, requiring you to be involved with research, legislative interpretation, analysis and report writing.
In this role, you will assist with workforce planning, equity and diversity initiatives and targeted recruitment campaigns as well as contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of human resource policy and strategy. Considering the work of the Department and its strategic focus, you will also partner with stakeholders to incorporate Divisional needs and shared outcomes.
