About The Role:
Office of State Revenue (OSR) is a business unit of the Department of Finance and is responsible for collecting revenue and paying grants and subsidies on behalf of the Government. State Revenue collects approximately $7 billion in revenue per annum. This role has primary accountability for technical development of the business systems that support this revenue collection.
OSR has developed a range of bespoke solutions to meet the unique Western Australian legislative context. These solutions are primarily Oracle based running on Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). You will be responsible for developing frameworks, policies, practices and standards in order to establish and maintain system architecture for the ongoing provision of OSR business systems.
The role requires a dynamic, values driven individual that can develop strategic IT plans to support the future activities and business continuity requirements of OSR in a complex environment and assist with identifying and managing the mitigation of risks in delivering technical and information ICT services.
OSR has initiated a number of system improvement and planning projects to further enhance and automate its services. We are seeking an individual that can lead a program of continuous improvement while fostering a culture of collaboration and service commitment. The role has access to systems with a range of confidential information. Therefore, knowledge of information security principles and the highest levels of personal integrity are required.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a significant expertise in enterprise architecture, a passion for customer engagement, with proven technical and analytical skills to identify and drive improvements across the business through our systems.
