This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment for 12 months; working between 37.5 hours and 45 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
This is a Fixed Term opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to the position of Senior Policy Officer. The Senior Policy Officer will provide project monitoring and executive support to project steering committees to assist in meeting the objectives of the health networks. In this position you will support health network project teams, direct and facilitate the development of project concepts and implementation strategies. You will also provide risk assessment and management advice on the potential risks, benefits, costs and State-wide impact of key reform initiatives in relation to proposed initiatives and strategies.
