About the Role
The key role of the Youth Support Officer is to provide positive role modelling to young people in the justice system and encourage them to develop life skills necessary to lead a law-abiding lifestyle and support activities for the Karratha and Roebourne branches.
Under the direction of the team leader, the position supports the young person and their family to achieve desired outcomes identified in the thorough care and case coordination plan.
Special Requirements
Travel may be required to be undertaken to other branches within the region. Applicants must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position. Applicants must also possess a C Class license and have the ability to drive a 4WD.
About You
All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.
