About the Position
The position of Coordinator, Business Services at WorkCover WA is a diverse role which incorporates aspects of operational support, strategic support and claims management on behalf of the Regulatory Services division.
The role provides high level business support to the division, supervises the claims management functions undertaken by the division, and is responsible for maintaining and improving information and administrative systems and processes.
Key duties of the role will be to ensure effective internal governance within the division, collaborate with the General Manager and management team to provide both operational and strategic support in the development of business plans, reporting against key performance indicators, prepare a variety of complex correspondence, oversee case and financial status reports on all active claims and ensure all claims are proactively managed.
To be successful in this position prospective applicants should possess:
- well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
- demonstrated effective supervisory and leadership experience; and
- experience identifying and implementing improvement activities.
