Woodvale Secondary College (College) is seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Mathematics for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise throughout 2020. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2019 school year, up to the end of Term 4, 2020.
Suitable applicants will be dedicated and highly motivated educators with the ability to provide high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students. Applicants should have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Mathematics Curriculum in Years 7 to 12 and promote active learning, providing engaging learning activities which facilitate students at all levels achieving their potential.
We are looking for dynamic, adaptable and collaborative individuals who are committed to working effectively as part of a team. Applicants will be improvement focused, participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities and continually reflect on their own teaching practice to enhance student engagement and achievement outcomes.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
