The Role
We currently have two vacancies for this senior role that provides engineering expertise for the electrical, fire and life safety, mechanical systems and any other building services within the Facilities and Infrastructure Branch. It also reviews the operational performance for complex systems including the maintenance regimes and asset reliability, ensuring systems and services comply with regulations and standards.
To be considered for this role you will require a degree in Engineering to allow for eligibility for membership to the Institute of Engineers (Australia) in the category of Chartered Professional Engineer. You will have considerable experience in asset maintenance and an understanding of Western Australian electicity regulations and Australian standards. Demonstrated experience in design and construction and demonstrated maintenance principles is also required, preferably in a rail environment. You will also need to have the ability to quickly assimilate complex technical engineering principles and issues and apply these in an operational environment, along with project and contract management experience.
