Butler College is seeking to appoint a dedicated, innovative and enthusiastic Health and Physical Education Teacher to join their friendly team.
As a member of the Health and Physical Education department, you will be required to deliver engaging learning programs in the areas of Physical Education, Outdoor Education and Health Education . A proven ability to teach these subjects at all year levels will be advantageous. All teaching staff at Butler College are also expected to demonstrate preparedness to collaborate with other College staff across the wide diversity of the student population including students with Special Needs. The College is a learning community founded on the principles of Knowledge, Integrity and Respect. Each initiative and communication is carried out with the expectation that these principles underpin the dialogue and actions of each individual.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
