Exmouth District High School (DHS) is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Mathematics Teacher.
Exmouth (DHS) is seeking a qualified lower secondary mathematics teacher with a genuine passion for student learning. The role will also include teaching Year 9 science. The successful applicant must have high expectations of student achievement and progress and take pride in supporting and challenging all students. They would also be able to diagnose student learning and be able to differentiate learning to meet these needs. All our teaching staff participate in the Classroom Management Strategies/Instructional Strategies program so skills in co-operative learning would be advantageous. As part of a vibrant professional learning community, the successful applicant is expected to engage in peer observation and collaborate in a high performance team.
Exmouth DHS is a proudly Independent Public School with approximately 450 students from K - 12. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
