Anne Hamersley Primary School (PS) seeking an experienced Primary Science Teacher with a strong STEM background to join their team.
The successful applicant will be innovative and passionate about science, demonstrating a strong knowledge of all key elements of the Western Australian Science Curriculum. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community, including the local high school.
In addition, they will ideally have a sound knowledge and use of digital technology including coding and robotics for a variety of purposes.
Anne Hamersley Primary School is an Independent Public School catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. We deliver an inclusive, diverse and exciting range of programs to our students with teachers and support staff selected to deliver the best possible education for children in the Ellenbrook area.
This opportunity is to create a well-balanced SCIENCE Program where students are excited by science through whole school activities such as Science Week, Coding Clubs and science incursions. Applicants that value student engagement and wellbeing will be considered favourably.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.
