About the role
We are seeking a suitably experienced and self-motivated Ministerial and Executive Services Coordinator to coordinate and manage Ministerial and Parliamentary requests.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Manage flow of information between DLGSC and Ministerial offices.
- Coordinate parliamentary questions and parliamentary services requests.
- Coordinate contentious issues briefing notes and other urgent requests.
- Undertake Ministerial reporting for Corporate Executive and Ministerial officers.
The successful candidates will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, high level of attention to detail and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key department staff at all levels of the organisation.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part-time and full-time.
Location
The DLGSC Office of the Director General is based at 246 Vincent Street Leederville, however the Ministerial and Executive Services Coordinator may be required to work from Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth at times.
