About UsAs Western Australia’s leading hazard management agency, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) performs a critical role coordinating emergency services for a range of natural disasters and emergency incidents threatening life and property.Supported by an extensive network of volunteers and career staff, DFES works together with community and government to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from a diverse range of emergencies.The RoleThis position is part of the Training Product Development Team. The role requires the application of vocational training system expertise to develop, and assist others to develop and improve, training products. The development of training products is conducted in accordance with Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) training requirements and where appropriate aligned to the Public Safety Training Package (PSTP) and compliant with State and National vocational training regulatory requirements.
