Exmouth District High School (DHS) is seeking to establish a Teacher - Primary Pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies commencing Term 4, 2019 and up to the end of Term 3 2020. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements up to the end of Term 3, 2020.
Exmouth DHS is looking for committed, professional and collaborative teachers who are able to work effectively in teams. Exmouth DHS is a proudly Independent Public School with approximately 450 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. We are passionate about providing the best possible education for the children of our community and are charged with preparing our students for a diverse range of futures. Successful applicants would join a team of 35 teaching staff and 25 support staff.

We are seeking a teacher who is creative in their approach and recognises students’ individual needs and provides an inclusive learning environment. All our teaching staff participate in the Classroom Management Strategies /Instructional Strategies program so skills in co-operative learning would be advantageous. You would be involved in providing high-level support and participation in team planning for curriculum policy and programs, as well as collaboration with members of the school community.
Exmouth is a coastal community of situated in the remote North West of Western Australia. Located about 1250km north of Perth, 850km north of the large regional city of Geraldton and 550km south west of the Pilbara mining operations in Karratha, we are surrounded by Cape Range National Park and are the gateway to the unique Ningaloo Reef, recently listed as a World Heritage site. There is a permanent population of approximately 3,500 people which swells to thousands more during peak tourist periods. Due to the number of tourists visiting Exmouth the town has many amenities which would not normally be expected in a town of its size.

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
