Nedlands Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of enthusiastic and motivated Early Childhood Education Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2019 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2020. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements up to the end of Term 1, 2020.
We urge interested applicants to consider both full time and/or part-time positions as low as 0.25FTE within the Early Childhood years and be confident to move between Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1 or 2 teaching roles should the school needs change in the future.
Suitable applicants will be committed to, and passionate about, the delivery of innovative and engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of the students whilst addressing the targets of the Nedlands PS Business Plan.
Suitable applicants will be highly motivated and committed to raising literacy and numeracy achievement, as well as social and emotional skills, through the effective use of rich, intentional play based learning and evidence based teaching methods. The inclusion of developmentally appropriate inquiry for students with advanced learning needs would be highly regarded. They will show a strong commitment to the outcomes of the West Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework with the National Quality Standards embedded in the learning environment.
