The Role
Transperth Train Operations (TTO) is seeking a qualified accountant to assist with the budgeting and reporting requirements of the Division. The Divisional Accountant is primarily responsible for preparing and monitoring the Division’s complex budget including reporting on significant variances to managers.
TTO is looking for someone with leadership and negotiation skills as well as the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders, particularly Branch Managers. You will use your analytical mind to obtain relevant data to enter into monthly and annual reports.
This is a demanding role working in a busy environment therefore the successful person will have considerable experience in management accounting in a medium/large Government agency. Knowledge of the FMA and Treasurer’s Instructions is critical to successfully undertaking the duties of this position.
