Manager Compliance
About the Position
WorkCover WA is seeking an experienced and accomplished leader and manager to lead the Compliance branch of our Regulatory Services division.
The Compliance branch is responsible for ensuring Western Australian employers (and other stakeholders) are complying with their obligations under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 (WA).
Key duties associated with this position include:
- Leading and managing branch resources and activities to ensure services are delivered in accordance with WorkCover WA’s strategic objectives and operational plan;
- Creating and maintaining a positive and successful team environment;
- Leading projects to agreed outcomes, scope, timeframes and budget;
- Assisting to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives; and
- Establishing effective networks with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will possess a background in management with experience building an effective team that fosters an efficient and cooperative culture.

Selection Methodology
WorkCover WA will utilise an Executive Search as part of this advertising process.
A variety of assessment methodologies may be used throughout the recruitment process, including but not limited to:
- Interview/s;
- Skills assessment;
- Aptitude testing;
- Psychometric testing;
- Referee checks; and
- National Police Clearance.
