Working in the Performance Audit business unit, you will be an integral part of a small team reporting directly to Parliament on whether the community receives value for its tax dollars.
Our Performance Audit reports cover some of the largest and most complex programs and departments in the public sector. As a Principal Performance Auditor with the Office in the past 12 months you could have contributed to interesting and important topics such as:
Ideal applicants will have:
- outstanding research and analytical skills that demonstrate experience evaluating systems, processes and programs
- excellent planning and organisational skills that deliver outcomes in a deadline driven project work environment
- strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- demonstrated experience leading project teams to evaluate principles, methods and standards to deliver an outcome.
Currently there is 1 full time permanent position. While this selection process will initially be used to appoint to this advertised vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar temporary or permanent positions that may arise in the Office within the next 6 months.
