About the role
The Senior Community Corrections Officer (SCCO) reports to the Team Leader and operates as part of the Branch case management team with responsibility for case management of offenders or defendants (in accordance with Orders and appropriate standards) who present a greater degree of complexity and/or potential harm to the safety of the community. SCCO’s are assigned portfolio responsibilities that may require them to work across a range of roles, including Court work and allocations within a Branch.
These positions are based at the East Perth and Mirrabooka offices.
About you
You will need to demonstrate the essential job requirements to be considered for this role:
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience working with adult offenders in community based settings
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation and best practice relating to the management of offenders and defendants in the community
All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.
