About the Role
The Financial and Commercial Services Directorate delivers financial and commercial business solutions that support the achievement of the organisation’s outcomes to enhance productivity, sustainability, safety and reliability. Within this Directorate, the Supply and Transport Branch is responsible for delivering procurement and light vehicle fleet business services and solutions to the organisation.
This role will see you develop, deploy, review and improve procurement management standards and processes for Main Roads. You will be responsible for maintaining procurement policies and documentation; contributing to system development and maintenance and to policy formulation. Importantly, you will consult with a range of stakeholders to identify requirements and develop procurement system and process solutions, providing training and presentations as required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a proactive approach to maintaining procurement policies, manuals, templates and forms, including the drafting of tendering and contract conditions and improvement suggestions on documentation structure and user friendliness. You will be able to demonstrate experience providing one on one training or presentations as part of implementing procurement policies. Your ability to prepare a range of reports for varying audiences will also be important in this role.

3. If applicable, evidence of your Diploma in Purchasing (desirable).
