The Role
We have a Signal Supervisor role available for immediate filling. This crucial role is responsible for leading, managing and developing our talented Signal Technicians and Maintainers. You will ensure the operational performance of all wayside signalling systems and protected level crossing assets meets the required organisational targets. You will ensure that assets are safe and reliable, and that all signal maintenance, repairs and associated works are completed to the PTA’s and relevant standards and customer requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have a current ‘A’ grade Electrical Workers Licence and a current Western Australian ‘C’ class driver’s licence or equivalent. In-depth field experience in maintaining and constructing wayside signalling systems including protected level crossings, associated control systems and signalling power distribution systems is also a requirement. You will also have experience in coordinating resources for maintenance or construction activities including supervising and developing teams and individuals to deliver organisational requirements within a rail safety environment.
You must be willing to undertake shift work in a pattern between the hours of 6am and 6pm (with the potential for nights) and be available on call and on weekends. Hours worked outside of 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday attract additional remuneration, with the potential earnings of up to $130 000 pa. (NB: - This amount is not guaranteed and is based on current averages).
