Shift Details
We are seeking someone who has flexibility in the hours they work. In this role you will be required to work in any one or more of the following three (3) shift arrangements during any given working week.
- 5.00am to 3.00pm
- 3.00pm to 1.00am
- 9.00am to 5.00pm - normal business hours
This is an operational position and it is a requirement for the successful applicant to be available to work these shifts including week ends, as required for a 24 hour 7 day roster. When there is no morning or afternoon shifts you will be expected to work in the Transit Office during normal business hours and assist in the equipment store.
The suitable applicant will attract an additional 1.9% leave loading and have 5 weeks annual leave.
The Role
In this role it is critical that you demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and have strong customer service skills as you will be assisting in handling customer enquiries and supporting more senior officers with the issuing of infringement notices. You will have access to the police data base through your data entry and the maintaining of the infringement data base. You will also be required to provide general administrative support, undertake data entry, general filing and draft correspondence to customers in relation to their complaints in order to support the Transit Administration Office.
To be suitable for this position your key attributes will be confidentiality, sound customer service and strong administrative and organisational skills. You also need to be able to work with minimal supervision within a team environment.
