The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries are seeking to establish a pool of Project Officers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made as vacancies arise over the next twelve months from the initial date of appointment from this pool.

About the role
In these roles you will promote and monitor the funding and development programs which support investment in the regional arts, cultural and creative sector in Western Australia
We have once current fixed term position until 30 June 2019 with a possibility of extension and/or permanency. At the conclusion of the initial engagement, an extension may be offered or the Department may choose to readvertise the opportunity.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part- time and full- time.
Location
This role is based at Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.
