This is an incredibly exciting time for hands-on, high performing, senior executives to join the recently restructured Department of Justice and lead critical functional areas into the future. Work collaboratively across the justice system, government, peak bodies and with other key stakeholders to shape outcomes for the fourth largest government department in WA.
Role
As a hands-on, accessible and visible, corrections leader, you will drive the vision for custodial operations across the directorate and collaboratively develop strategies, operating policies, programs and systems, to deliver an integrated and high performance correctional framework.
Demonstrate your custodial expertise through frank and fearless advice, mitigation of risk and by making things happen. Build collegiate partnerships across a diverse range of stakeholders, oversee a capital expansion program and produce best-practice custodial services, to deliver on government commitments.
As a leader of people, model integrity and set the standards for professionalism, operational excellence and fiscal management, to create efficiencies, build capability and forge cultural change.
Job related requirements
C Class Drivers Licence and possible Intrastate/Interstate Travel.
