Permanent - Part Time, 38 hours per fortnight.
An opportunity exists to be part of a dynamic Primary Health Care team providing a comprehensive range of health care services with the Department of Justice based at Bunbury Regional Prison located in the south west of WA.
Role
This position relates predominantly to Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, this role will provide clinical management of prisoners in custody with Mental Health /Alcohol and other drugs diagnoses.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples would be an advantage. All nursing staff employed by the Department of Justice are required to practise in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) National Competency Standards.
Job related requirements
Current registration in the category of Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
