Subject to confirmation of eligibility, the current district allowance payable for Karratha is single rate $9,449pa and dependent rate $18,898pa (pro rata).

About the role
We are seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the part-time 0.4 FTE position of Regional Administration Officer.
In this role you respond to public enquiries regarding the Department’s planning and service delivery in the Pilbara region.
You will be providing administrative support and assists with the day-to-day operations of the Pilbara Office, and undertaking basic project work.
This position is fixed term until 25 March 2019 with a possibility of extension and/or permanency. At the conclusion of the initial engagement, an extension may be offered or the Department may choose to readvertise the opportunity.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part- time and full- time.
