Canning Vale College (CVC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Teacher – Health and Physical Education to join our school.
The successful applicant for this position will be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Health and Physical Education with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They will exhibit the professional knowledge, understanding and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Health and Physical Education curriculum. The successful applicant will work closely with students, teachers and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students within an organised and supportive Health and Physical Education Department.
Canning Vale College (CVC) was established in 2004 and currently has approximately 1700 students in years 7 to 12. The college has grown along with the area and the team at CVC aim to create a future for every child in the Canning Vale community. At CVC we believe a strong partnership between parents, students and our staff will ensure we achieve our aim. Our goal of Creating Futures is achieved when each student has the knowledge, skills and values to successfully move onto University, TAFE or the workforce.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
