This is a sessional appointment for 5 years at 2 sessions per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic person to the position of Consultant - Surgeon - Oral Maxillo Facial Surgery for Royal Perth Hospital. In this position, you will lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist facial trauma and reconstructive surgery services to patients. You will also promote patient safety and quality of care whilst providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers. In collaboration with the Medical/Service Co-Director/Head of Department and other Consultants, the position works to achieve national, state and East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) performance standards and targets, as well as working within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
