Are you motivated in educating young minds?
East Butler Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of motivated and dedicated Kindergarten to Year 6 teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2019 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2019 school year.
As a vibrant Independent Public School (IPS), East Butler Primary School is seeking highly skilled and innovative Primary teachers dedicated to promoting exemplary teaching and learning programs to achieve the best educational outcomes for our students. They will have highly developed interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with parents, students and colleagues. Suitable applicants will have strong classroom management and organisational skills and the ability to implement cutting edge pedagogy.
East Butler PS is committed to 21st century learning and values an Information Communication and technology (ICT) rich school environment with a focus on allowing students to demonstrate their understanding in alternative ways. East Butler PS opened in 2007 and is located approximately 50kms from the Perth CBD. A supportive and collaborative working environment is a key guiding ethos of our school.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.

- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
