WESTERN AUSTRALIAN LAND INFORMATION AUTHORITY
Strategic leadership role providing exceptional information services that underpin the ability of Government agencies to effectively deliver key State initiatives.
The Western Australian Land Information Authority (Landgate) is a statutory authority, which provides a secure land titles system, impartial land valuation services and authoritative geographic information. In so doing Landgate is vital to the functioning of the state’s property market, and to developing optimal strategies for the use of Western Australian land to create economic, environmental and social value for the State. Recognised as a leader in both innovation, commercialisation transformation and customer service, Landgate has embraced technology to transform service provision and supporting innovation and business development across sectors.
In this dynamic and important role, you will be responsible for the effective leadership of the organisation to shape and achieve strategic, business, policy and budget objectives and contribute to the attainment of high level strategic government and sector wide goals. You will work effectively with key agencies and stakeholders to build a collaborative approach to policy and engage with a broad range of stakeholders in the land information management sector. Further, you will provide high level advice to the Minister and government on strategic matters and implement initiatives to support continued excellence and innovation in land management. Vitally, you will play a key role in steering the commercialisation of certain aspects of Landgate’s business.
A demonstrated track record of strong leadership, innovation and successful achievement of policy goals is important to succeed in this role. You will demonstrate that you can achieve results, act decisively, and recognise and harness diversity and differing points of view. Further, you will have a proven record of building and sustaining effective working relationships and have exemplary personal integrity and high ethical standards. Relevant experience and a detailed understanding of contemporary land management information systems and commercial environments will be highly regarded.
