About the Role
The Metropolitan Region manages the day to day condition and ongoing development of Main Roads network and assets within the Perth Metropolitan area, to provide safe and efficient road access for the community. The region is currently seeking an experienced Asset Manager Pavement and Surfacing to join their team.
In this role, you will provide specialist advice on pavement rehabilitation and bituminous surfacing investigation and design and on network pavement and surfacing needs through visual inspection and data analysis. You will conduct complex pavement investigations in collaboration with the Materials Engineering Branch and provide specialist advice and input into the development, implementation and maintenance of the Regional Ten Year Network Program.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate your comprehensive experience in providing optimum solutions for pavement and surfacing asset management of a major city road network and in pavement design, pavement and surfacing construction, rehabilitation and maintenance practices and processes. You will have strong and well developed research and problem solving skills and have a solid understanding of site investigation and testing technologies. Your ability to work effectively and collaboratively with key stakeholders will be key to your success.

A comprehensive CV demonstrating their relevant skills and abilities within the context of the Job Role Statement.
A statement outlining your comprehensive skill, knowledge and experience in the following three (3) criteria in no more than three (3) pages:
- Pavement design, pavement and surfacing construction, rehabilitation and maintenance practices and processes.
- Pavement analysis, whole-of-life cycle cost analysis and developing pavement rehabilitation and bituminous resurfacing programs.
- Research, analysis and problem solving.
Evidence of your current motor vehicle driver’s licence and if applicable to you, your Tertiary Qualification in Pavement Engineering.
