About the Role
VenuesWest is looking for an experienced Aquatic Supervisor to assist in the management of our aquatic centre facilities for events, sports training and public recreational use. The role supervises our Aquatic Service Officers (Lifeguards) as well as ensures the effective and efficient delivery of our aquatic services. The position plays a key role in safety for VenuesWest including administering first aid and acting as Chief Warden during emergency situations.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, offering 152 hours per four week period. Although the role is primarily based at HBF Stadium, mobility may be required between our portfolio of venues.

About the Person
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in pool management/supervision; excellent communication and organisational skills and experience supervising a team of staff in an aquatic environment.
The following qualifications are essential at commencement:
- Pool Operators/Managers Certificate
- RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent) and Provide CPR (HLTAID001 or equivalent)
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Certificate
- Operate and Control Liquefied Chlorine Gas Disinfection or Work Safely With Liquefied Chlorine Gas Certification; or capacity to complete within 2 months of commencement
- LIWA Accreditation
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D); or capacity to complete within 2 months of commencement

Permanent Appointment

Future Appointments
VenuesWest will utilise this recruitment process to place suitable applicants in a pool for a six month period from which fixed-term and permanent appointments may be made.
