About the Position
This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating the conciliation and arbitration functions undertaken by WorkCover WA. This includes the management of cases to resolve disputes, leading a team of case management officers in scheduling and managing hearings and liaising with stakeholders in the dispute resolution process.
This position will also be heavily involved in the delivery of strategic projects, particularly as they relate to the development and implementation of the Conciliation and Arbitration Services online system.
To be successful in this position prospective applicants should possess the demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate a team in the achievement of established objectives. Applicants should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle challenging situations involving people.

This position is available for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be appointed to other similar vacancies that occur throughout the Agency over the coming 12 months.
