Belridge Secondary College (SC) is in seeking a passionate and energetic person who will add value to a successful physical education learning area.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the delivery of the elite Netball program. Belridge SC has built a reputation for excellence with its Academic and Sporting programs. The Netball Program commenced for Year 8’s in 2013, and now provides a 7-12 program, including the delivery of a Certificate III in Sports Coaching in Year 11 & 12. The program is timetabled for 4 periods per week with a focus on the development of skill, tactics and strategies in the game, fitness requirements and teamwork. Over the course duration, students will also develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of coaching, umpiring, nutrition, first aid and sport psychology.
Our college has high expectations of our students. We set high academic standards so that our students graduate ready and prepared for life after school.
We offer a diverse curriculum including the following specialist programs:
- Academic Extension Program for gifted and talented students from Year 7-10
- Fashion & Design Program
- Cricket Academy
- Netball Academy.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
