We’re looking for
A strategic leader to direct our Network Planning (Freight and Intermodal) function.
Reporting to the Executive Director Integrated Transport Planning, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for integrated transport planning solutions of the State’s transport network, with a specific focus on planning and development of freight and intermodal networks in Perth and Regional WA.
You will be an outstanding communicator with extensive experience in transport strategy, network planning and implementation. Qualifications in planning or an engineering discipline will be highly regarded.
This is a six (6) month fixed term contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
We need someone who can
- Direct and manage the delivery of strategic freight transport network plans
- Provide high level advice and expertise on freight and intermodal networks
- Build and maintain strong networks across the Transport Portfolio and with key state and local government stakeholders
- Actively involve their team in setting realistic and challenging goals to achieve successful business outcomes
- Empower, motivate and develop the diverse talents of their team
