We’re looking for a Network Operations Coordinator to join our team and help us keep the Goldfields road network safe, efficient, and incident-free. This is your chance to make a real difference in the community while working in one of Western Australia’s most iconic regions.

What We Offer:
Competitive salary package between $123,679 - $137,769.89 per annum, inclusive of the allowances below.
Or $138,520 - $154,302 per annum with inclusive 12% superannuation
- Optional for on-call duties – overtime and allowances will be compensated, increasing your yearly earnings
- Annual Leave Loading of 17.5% is paid in December each year.
- Paid Commuted Overtime of 13.5% on top of your annual salary, based on additional 3 hours 45 minutes per week
- District Allowance of $2,354 or $4,708 (if you have a dependant) per annum
- Receive an annual power subsidies of up to $3,201 per year, dependant on the hot water system.
About the role:
As the Network Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for all things road safety and traffic management in the Goldfields. Here’s some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Incident & Emergency Response: Utilise your emergency response expertise in this role, where you'll collaborate with emergency services such as WA Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, to ensure the safety of the road network for all users during incidents.
- Road Network Compliance – Ensure compliance across the State road network by contributing to the effective management of access, development and works within the road reserve, and by proactively identifying and resolving non‑compliant or unsafe activities to safeguard safety and network performance.
- Traffic Design & Management: Review traffic designs, plans for traffic devices, and traffic management plans for road works and events, ensuring they align with safety and operational requirements.
- Investigations & Reporting: Investigate traffic operational matters and road safety issues to identify risks and assist with the preparation of correspondence and reports for stakeholders, including the Minister, Local Government, and the public.
- Heavy Vehicle Access & Route Assessments: Assess heavy vehicle access and routes, including RAV and PBS routes, and provide regional advice to ensure safe, efficient and compliant freight movement across the road network.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Are a motivated individual with a strong understanding of traffic management, road safety, and network operations.
- Have exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet during high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, prepare reports, and provide clear, timely guidance in complex operational environments.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and develop innovative solutions.
