About the role
Play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of creative, customer-focused marketing and communication activities across the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and its sub-brands. This position contributes to the development of integrated campaigns that promote services, inform passengers and enhance the customer experience.
Working within the Customer Strategy and Communications division, you will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies across paid, owned and digital platforms. You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to translate complex information into clear, engaging and accessible messaging that resonates with diverse audiences.
The role also involves analysing campaign performance, preparing reports and using insights to improve future communications. You will contribute to digital initiatives such as website and app enhancements, ensuring content and user experience align with customer needs and organisational objectives.
About You!
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in marketing, communications or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering marketing and communication campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders
- Well-developed organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence in understanding and interpreting digital analytics and performance reporting
- An understanding of using content management systems, email marketing platforms and social media tools
- Experience working with advertising agencies, media partners and external suppliers

There is currently one fixed term opportunity available until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months
To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or have a current visa with ongoing full working rights in Australia for the tenure of the role.
