
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
The School Officer is a key member of the front office, responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the school. This role provides administrative, financial, and customer service support within a fast‑paced environment. As the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and community members, the School Officer should maintain a professional and welcoming front office, responds to enquiries, prepares correspondence, manages student records, and assists with enrolment and attendance processes. Ideally, suitable applicants will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, display attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in their work and brings a strong sense of professionalism to every interaction
The School Officer would assist with a range of office operations, including ordering and managing supplies, and coordinating maintenance and service requests. Additional responsibilities the admisitering the operation of confidential records and may include assisting with compliance requirements, and offering general administrative support. Experience administering the operation of school databases, records and management information systems such as Compass, the Student Information System (SIS), RM Billing, RM Finance, HRMIS is highly desirable, as is knowledge of Microsoft Office, 365 and Excel.
The suitable applicants should display the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and contribute positively to the day‑to‑day running of the school.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
