About the role
As a Senior Accessibility and Learning Support Officer (Auslan Interpreter), you will make a meaningful difference by supporting students who are Deaf or hard of hearing to fully participate in education and training. You will coordinate Auslan interpreting and tutorial support services across NMTAFE, while also managing the day‑to‑day administration of the Disability Australian Apprentice Wage Support (DAAWS) program. Working closely with lecturers, Connect providers and the Apprentice Management Team, you will help ensure apprentices receive timely academic and accessibility support. This varied role combines hands‑on student engagement with coordination, administration and strong stakeholder relationships in a genuinely inclusive, student‑centred environment.

There is an option to accrue an additional two weeks leave each year on top of your standard four weeks annual leave.
